Head Office:
I have worked in care for 35years now, before I transferred to care I worked in a sewing factory, I then worked at Wigan Infirmary on the acute medical ward which is when I realised, I was made to work in care. I have worked my way up in different companies from Care Worker to Registered Manager. I transferred across to SOS Homecare in June 2023 as a Review and Assessment Officer. Since then I have changed my role to Deputy Manager. I enjoy the management side of my role and have built up good relationships with the team. In October 2024, I became the Registered Manager for the St Helens branch. Recently I have taken responsibility for the Warrington Branch also to cover maternity leave.
I started in the care industry 7 years ago working as a Care Assistant. I eventually found myself working for SOS Homecare in 2024. I was a Care Assistant for SOS Homecare for 2 years until I became Care Coordinator for the Warrington Branch. I couldn't have been happier about my promotion due to my passion for the company and relationships I have gained with the staff and clients. I enjoy my role greatly and have always had a passion for care. I am currently completing my Level 3 diploma in adult care. I have been lucky to have a good team around me who have supported me to get where I am currently.
My name is Rachel and I have worked in care for several years; it has always been something I am extremely passionate about. I have worked at SOS Homecare since the branch opened. I first started here as a Care Coordinator where my role was to support the staff team and to grow the business. I have now progressed to Registered Manager and I couldn't be happied; I look forward to watching the branch grow further and also seeing what we can achieve as a team. SOS is a great company to work for and they really do value the clients and staff needs. Whilst working here, I have been able to complete my Level 3 in Health and Social care and I am currently working towards my Level 5.
