Head Office:
I have worked in care for 35years now, before I transferred to care I worked in a sewing factory, I then worked at Wigan Infirmary on the acute medical ward which is when I realised, I was made to work in care. I have worked my way up in different companies from Care Worker to Registered Manager. I transferred across to SOS Homecare in June 2023 as a Review and Assessment Officer. Since then I have changed my role to Deputy Manager. I enjoy the management side of my role and have built up good relationships with the team. In October 2024, I became the Registered Manager for the St Helens branch.
I started working in care 30 years ago and I haven't looked back. I used to work work for St Helens council in the sports centre, and worked in a make up factory. I transferred to SOS Homecare in 2023 as an On Call Care Worker and have recently got a position in the office as a Care Coordinator. I have loved working for SOS Homecare as I feel like I am making a difference every day. I have had so many different training opportunities here and I look forward to developing further in my professional career.
I have worked in care for 7 years; I was a Care Worker for 5 years and then got promoted to a supervisor. In September 2025, I joined SOS Homecare as a Care Coordinator. I love working for SOS Homecare as I love to be able to help people in the community. I have enjoyed building a lot of new relationships and gaining trust from carers and clients to be able to do the job that I do. I take pride in being approachable and organised.
I have worked as a Care Assistant for 8 years, and I joined SOS Homecare in 2021 as a Health Care Assistant, where I developed a strong passion for supporting others and delivering person centred care. In July 2025, I progressed to the role of Care Coordinator, taking on greater responsibility in organising care and supporting both clients and staff. I am committed to providing comassionate, reliable care and making a positive difference in people's lives.
