I have been working in the care sector for over 19 years, working in a variety of settings including hospitals, domiciliary care settings and supported living settings. I have completed a wide range of training and qualifications including my NVQ level 4 Business management and level 4 leadership and management. I have been a registered manager for over four years, and joined SOS Homecare during the transfer of service in September 2016.

Prior to working in the care sector I was a catering manager for many years before deciding upon a change of career in 2010. I started in care as a full time carer. I completed my Level 2 and 3 in health and social care before becoming a full time coordinator in 2011. I am currently completing my level 5 to support my development as a Registered Manager within adult social care.

Rebecca Pinder

When I left school I went to work for my dad as a laboratory technician for 6 years, I also looked after my fiancé’s dad who had a triple heart bypas; it was then that I realised I wanted to work in the care sector. I started at by working nights in a care home, working my way up to a senior care assistant. I then worked as a Team Leader within another company before I came to work for SOS homecare on 20th April 2017. I love my position here at SOS Homecare, and I am currently working towards my NVQ level 5 (having already achieved my level 3).

When I left school I had a part time job in a jewellers and then I worked in a fast food restaurant for a while before taking a few years off to bring up my children. I came to work for SOS Homecare in July 2016. It was my first care job but I had looked after my great Nan for many years. This is when I decided I would like a job in care. At the beginning of April I was promoted to Team Leader. I am loving working for SOS homecare in my new role. I have completed my NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have now started my Level 3.

I have worked in the care sector since 2001, in various settings but predominantly within supported living. I started my career as a Support Worker, and progressed to Service Manager at my previous company. I joined SOS Homecare in May 2017 as a Team Leader for the St Helens Branch, and have thoroughly enjoyed my role so far. Having previously completed my NVQ level 2 & 3, LMA level 2, I am currently working towards my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care. 

Louis Kenyon

Team Leader

I have worked in care since 2012, specialising in head injury rehabilitation. I worked my way up from a support coach to a supervisor on residential units going from post hospital to community setting. I also spent a short time working as an engineer making and repairing industrial printing rollers. I joined SOS Homecare as a Mental Health Support Worker in June 2018 and then progressed to Team Leader in August 2018.
