I joined SOS Homecare in August 2006 as a Finance Assistant and a care worker. I obtained my NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration in 2012. Having realised that my passion lay with caring for people and interacting with our customers I changed role and became a Care Coordinator. My role involves ensuring that our customers receive the care they require in an efficient and safe manner. In September 2017 I became the Deputy Manager. I still enjoy providing care in addition to my new role.
I have worked for SOS Homecare since June 2013, working as a homecare assistant before being promoted to a senior care assistant. In September 2017 I took a new role as a Care Coordinator based in the Trafford office, whilst still providing social care on a regular basis. I am passionate about the quality of care we provide, and recently was awarded an Outstanding Achievement award at the SOS Annual Care Awards 2016.
I have worked for SOS Homecare since December 2018. I started as a carer, got promoted to Senior Carer within 6 months and since May 2021, I am taking on a new role of Care Coordinator at the Trafford branch. I qualified as a Teaching Assistant, wanted a change of career and here I am! I absolutely love working in the care industry and look forward to gaining new skills and qualifications through SOS and seeing what the future brings.
