Care & Support Workers

We know that our staff are our most important and valuable asset, as it is the staff team that help shape, contribute and deliver to our aims and values.

Our commitment and passion around helping people to achieve their full potential includes our staff team, so we provide all employees with opportunities to learn and increase their skills, knowledge and confidence through a structured quality development programme that includes formal induction and support, Health and Social Care Diploma’s (formally NVQ’s) and related Mental Health Qualifications or other appropriate qualifications, and complimentary related non mandatory courses.

In addition all staff have criminal record checks (enhanced DBS disclosures) in accordance with the Care Quality Commission compliance requirements, are reference checked, fully trained and receive regular structured supervision and individual support, as well as annual appraisal.

All the staff sign up to the company’s Code of Practice for Care Workers which describes how care and support staff are expected to conduct themselves and treat others. Staff are regularly checked by spot checks during their work, as well as regular feedback being sought from our clients and their support circle (family & friends for example).
